part of their Pre-Season
schedule, Everton will play Pachuca on Thursday, July
29 at 7:30 p.m. and Club America on Sunday, Aug. 1 on 2 p.m. Last
August, Cruz Azul defeated Club Tigres 2-1 to win the inaugural
Copa de Tejas.

America visited Reliant Stadium in January for the Copa de Libertadores
qualifying, eventually reaching the quarterfinals. Club America
has won more
league titles (13) than any other Mexican
entry.

Pachuca,
winner of the 2003 Mexican Championship, is Mexican Soccer's oldest
club. Mexico's most successful team over the last five seasons,
Pachuca also captured the 1999 and 2001 Mexican Championship. Members
of Pachuca see this as a chance to have a good showing on an International
stage.
