Blue-Blood

A new season, a new fanzine! On sale outside 'The Winslow' before home games. Price : £1. Written by George Orr, who used to write the excellent 'Remember When Column' in the Everton programme about the history of the club, until he was told by Everton he wasn't needed anymore. Everton's loss we say.

George says: "I still needed to write about Everton. I want to do articles on our history." He says this with relish. " There are many young and not so young Evertonians who have not read or heard of the great players of the past, the traditions of EFC or even that we used to play at the Devil's Pit, Anfield." There is nobody better qualified to do just that. George has an extensive collection of Everton artifacts & memorabilia, some of which has never been seen in print before. These will be added to the Fanzine over the coming months. He has written several books on Everton, including ' Everton in the Sixties - A Golden Era'.

Blue-Blood, NEW Everton Fanzine

The fanzine has more to offer than just history. There are articles including 'Gwladys Streets Neighbourhood Watch'. Plus the customary letters page, called 'Blue Swayed Views'. Even though, that is one cheesy title, the Fanzine is worth a nicker.
