Everton Photos - Jogger's Snapshots 171 - Pretty In Pink Special 1

Jogger's Snapshots is for all you photogenic Evertonians to show the world how fantastic you looked when you wore a scarf around your wrist all those years ago. (Last week in some cases). Or send a photo of you in Everton Blue on your travels around the world. So send in your photo's of you and your mates decked out in those silly bobble hats at Wembley, or hobnobbing with the players, or better still, send a photo of your mate looking a right Dick, and Jogger will gladly put it on this page.

Ellie Christian

Hi - this is a picture of our 10 year old daughter Ellie Christian - in her pink Everton shirt. Ellie's favourite player is Andy Johnson.

She will be made up to see herself on the site, she loves going to the Pub photos section cos there's one on there of her Dad Phil in the Bottom House.

Hayley

Hey I was wondering if you could put this pic of me in my pink shirt on your 'pink page'.

Many thanks

Just thought I would send you a pic of my daughter Sarah in her new pink Everton shirt. Maybe you could do a page just for the pink shirts! Regards

Emily & Sophie

Could you post this picture of my twin daughters Emily and Sophie. Took them to their first match in the Parkend. They loved their new shirts. Much better than an Easter egg! Pity they didn't see us win today but they'll have their shirts on for next Sunday.

I was one of the lucky ladies to be able to purchase a Pink Breast Awareness Shirt yesterday and I was so overjoyed at being so lucky as I never thought I would be, only being 1000 made. However, that joy was overshadowed when I came home and found out that people were selling the shirts on e-bay for ridiculous amounts of money.

Whilst I realise that there are people out there who are desperate to get hold of a shirt and would pay theses prices.

Unfortunately people have lost sight of why the shirt was made in the first place. My question is will these people be making a donation. Peoples greed and need for profit are getting in the way and this deeply saddens me.

Everton were overwhelmed with the response to the recently released pink replica shirts. 1,000 of the specially commissioned shirts were sold within a day with a donation of each purchase being donated to the Breast Cancer Campaign.

The pink shirts were part of Everton’s second annual Ladies Day in October 2007, which raised over £10,000 for breast cancer awareness.

A small number of the shirts were commissioned to support the event along with a series of other special events throughout October.

Since Ladies Day, the pink shirt gained an unprecedented amount of interest and with that in mind the Premier League gave permission to sell the shirts.

Following the successful launch of the pick shirts, the Club is investigating the possibility of releasing a further batch of pink shirts at a later date.
