Would agree with many of the comments already made but would add one other…..shortly after David Moyes was appointed manager he held a question & answer session in London at an event organised by ESCLA.

Myself and I would imagine everyone else crammed in the room that night were left in no doubt that we had a shrewd tactician at the helm, someone who could be a disciplinarian when needed, someone who respected Everton’s traditions, someone who understood how important this club is to the fans, but above all someone who had an utter determination to win at whatever they did in life. Best regards. Chris Klopper

Has to be Big Dunc's diving header when we beat United 1-0..that game was quality!! Moyes even went mental at the red faced prick Ferguson that game! Plus living in Manchester it shut up all my mates who are dumb enough to support United! COYB!! In Moyes We Trust! Dave Godfrey, Manchester Evertonian

Davey Unsworth smashing his first goal for Moyes as blues boss within 30 secs ! COYB Dave Grosscurth

There are loads to mention. He's worked wonders on a low budget. Gotta be fighting for 4th against the shite and winning and last years semi final knocking out the mancs. I was in a sports bar in london mainly surrounded by (cockney) mancs and a handful of crazy blues. i didn't mind not getting a ticket in the end. COYB's and Moyesy. Keep it up. Glynn Holland, Widnes

When Carsley scored the winner was like a volcano had erupted, absolutely amazing. Nicky Ryan

Has to be the Liverpool and United games of last season and of our 4th place season. COYB! Ian Roberts

Stuffing Derby in his first game - a marker, we thought. We were right...
Putting Ferguson in his place vs the Mancs - the same day the real Ferguson did so on the pitch.
AJ's Derby and Gosling's goal.
FA Cup Semi-Final.
Might seem a strange one, but the moment against Mentalist Karkhiv when Pienaar finally realised why Moyes signed him - and proved him right.
We're not finished yet, but we've come a very long way with Davey Moyes... Rory O'Keeffe

Moysey leading the lads out at Wembley has to be the proudest moment - or finishing 4th, above the Shite. I'd go for Wembley though. John Gaskell

Duncan Ferguson's diving header against united. James Original Brown

His people's club shout? Paul Kilbride

Finishing 4th, Wembley or Gosling knocking Liverpool out of the FA Cup ;D. Shaun Rigby

Those two and the game we beat the Redshite 3-0 at Goodison. Tom Breslin

When he signed his contract!! COYB!! Paul Caine

3-0 win when AJ scored. I'd settle for that score on sat!! Tony Schneider

To many to mention The man is a miracle worker!! Steven 'Bez' Berrington

When we knocked the filthy mancs out of the FA Cup. Dawn Higgins

FA Cup semi final atmosphere, Carsley derby winner and DUNCAN mancs winner! Neil Turner

Beating the red shite 3-0. Lee Anthony Dearden

Drawing at Anfield twice in a week (being the better team in both, and Benitez spitting his dummy), knocking them out at Goodison and the atmosphere. Next after them the semi final atmosphere at Wembley. Mental! But also remember the 2004/2005 atmosphere we had post rooney. Unbelievable at the time what we did. Proud at the fact we're steadily improving in quality (compared to 2001 no end). The fact he brings players here and makes them better. What we're all about. Mark Reid

Moyesy leading out the Toffees at Wembley. Reminded me of the Kendall era, when we were never away from the place & AJ's brace against the Kopites. Wayne Robinson

Duncan's farewell will be with me forever, Super Dan's Derby yes, but the winner has to be my first trip to Wembley and the extra time winner by Jags. Am almost welling up now thinking about them. Mimi Marsden

Tim Cahill scoring the second in our 2-0 win over Newcastle in May 2005 :) Kevin Ward

When jags scored the winning penalty against the mancs! James Case

SK Brann 6-1 but Moyes becoming manager was even better. Pity we have no cash otherwise we could be champions again just like he is a CHAMPION for the blues. Gerald Craig

Defo Super dan and Big Dunc headed goal against manure. Tony Ibbotson Efc Snowdon

Got to be the semi final last season to beat the scum - magic!!! Paula Potter

Danny g lar vs RS, awesome. Tom Hutton

When he lost our best ever player to united by being an arse with him. Gary Jennings

It wasn't Moyesy's fault he left. He was just a greedy ******* once a blue oh ye!!!!!!!!! Dawn Higgins

Any goal of big Duncs, Fiorentina at Goodison, gutted at the end but the performance and the atmosphere was unreal. Jay Mooney

When we beat Newcastle at Goodison in 2005. Then the shite got beat by Arsenal on the sunday and 4th was ours and the Ferguson goal against united in the same season Goodison was bouncing that nite. oh and the baldy juggler at the park end for Johnson's goal Mark Finn

3-0 against the shite, more of the same this saturday boys! In Moyes We Trust. Michael Myers

Beating the shite. Best of luck sat boys coyb. Aidan Cooney

I'm gonna have to go with Gosling's goal against the kopites... fantastic stuff. Rob Anderson

Everton 3 Redshite 0 at Goodison. Niall Whelan

finishing 4th or cup final .....Moyes is up there in Goodison history. He knows what this club is all about ...a win at the shite would mean as much to him as us ..COYB's.......Richie Yeates

2-1 arsenal (Rooney) - 3-0 against the no marks from across the park, the semi final last year against the mancs. 1-0 (Fergie) against the mancs. There's so many to choose from - long may he stay. Paul Dobb

Has to be THAT Rooney game vs gunners. Rich Jackson

Every single moment, he's a great manager. David Moyes..David Moyes..David, David Moyes.. He's got red hair and we don't care, David David Moyes. Michelle Hird

His first game against Fulham with Rhino scoring after about 30 seconds. You knew then he was going to be special. Alan Parks

Beating the mancs at Wembley in the semi. Kevin Button

Fiorentina home in the UEFA Cup. I know we went out on pens that night but the performance and the atmosphere at Goodison was electric! Here's to the next 600!!Martin Carson

Deffo the 3-0 destruction of the redshite. Joe O'Reilly

When he told SIR alex ferguson to fuck off in the dunc's diving header game. haha. quality. Mark Walsh

Leeds away when Rooney scored was mental. David Carson

The 1-0 Carsley Derby...met Graeme Sharp (my childhood hero) in the VIP lounge (erm marquee in the Goodison car park!) before the game, got smashed before, during and after the game, stayed in the ground for 5 mins at the end of the match just taking it all in (im not a regular visitor to Goodison tho this was the 5th derby I'd been to and the first time we won), lost my mates, saw Big Dunc in his car outside the Winslow after the game and shook his hand, carried on drinking/partying into the nite...one of the best days of my life!!! Also, of course, our cup run last year (beating the shite and the manc scum along the way), finishing 4th in 04-05, two 5th pace finishes in a row...and just being a fkng brilliant football team with no money but shitloads of heart and spirit over the last few years!! Best time of my life being a Blue right now and that's thanks to the one DM. THANK YOU MOYESY, WE LOVE YOU!!! Bring on the RS on Saturday, we are well overdue a win at their place. COYB FTRS IMWT NSNO !!! Noel Singh

I don't have a favourite moment. But the occasion what stands out for me over everything the great man has achieved is the moment he agreed to be Everton manager. From that point we have turned a corner and improved season after season. Only a matter of time now until some silverware comes our way. Europa league will do for starters. COYB!!!!!!! Dave Jonsson
